The City of Bellingham is seeking Statements of Qualifications to provide site analysis & feasibility studies, planning, design, engineering, permitting, cost estimating and all other related services for the Cornwall Park – Covered Pickleball Courts project.
Currently, Cornwall Park has nine, existing, outdoor Pickleball courts and two, existing, outdoor tennis courts. This work includes, but is not limited to, covering all and/or some of the existing court area(s).

Description: The Public Works Department is seeking qualifications from interested architectural and engineering consultants to aid in development of a project leading to construction of a Vehicle/Equipment Storage Building. This expansion of the current Operations Center will involve replacement of the existing WTA building and Wash Rack Building. The current WTA building is located at 2221 Nevada Street. The City is looking to replace the existing WTA building with a new vehicle and equipment storage building that will include heated vehicle and equipment storage and workshop spaces. The new single-story building will include restroom facilities, Operations wood shop, vehicle storage space for: 6 Vactor trucks, 3 street sweepers, snow and ice equipment, tractors, mowers, operations vehicles and equipment, and incorporation of a new wash rack into the building. The scope of work will include programming, pre-design and feasibility, planning, design, construction documentation for bidding. The consultant tasks shall take place within a schedule anticipating completion of building design and permitting by November 2020. The selected consultant will work with the City to ensure all bid documents are consistent with and can be incorporated into the bid package for the City Operations Admin Building, currently scheduled to be bid in late 2020 or early 2021.

Description: Island Region Vehicle Electrification Study Request for Proposals.
Island County, as the lead agency for the Island Regional Transportation Planning Organization, RTPO, is requesting proposals from consulting firms who wish to be considered in providing professional services for the following: Research, data and financial analysis, policy development, and public engagement services in the pursuit of vehicle electrification in Island County.
Proposals shall include:1) Project Administration; (2) Data Gathering; (3) Analysis of municipal fleets and feasibility of partial transition to electric vehicles: (4) Coordination with potential charging station hosts: (5) Public outreach; (6) Review of existing building and development codes; (7) Coordination with planning and building departments of all municipalities; (8) Coordination with public works department on infrastructure needs; (9) Mapping; and (10) Policy Statement.
Project Budget: $51,000
