Small Works Roster – Schools – Skagit County area
Washington State law, as amended, provides that public works projects such as building improvements or repairs undertaken by public school districts may be awarded through certain prescribed procedures to “responsible contractors” who have requested to be listed on the “Small Works Roster”. Small Works is defined to include projects that are estimated to cost less than $200,000.00.
The school districts listed below invite responsible contractors having an interest in bidding on unspecified small works, which may be announced in the future by one or more school districts individually, to submit their names for inclusion on a “Small Works Roster” which shall be common to all districts listed.

Small Works Roster – Eastsound Sewer and Water District
The Eastsound Sewer and Water District of San Juan County, Washington is updating its Small Works Contractors Roster pursuant to RCW 57.08.050.
The District occasionally requires the services of responsible contractors to make repairs, additions and improvements to the District’s sewer system.

Qualifying Generals & Specialty Contractors for Rehab of 24 houses
The Housing Authority of Skagit County (HASC) is qualifying General and specialty contractors for rehabilitation of approximately 24 houses owned by low and moderate income homeowners in Skagit County, Washington.
The project is funded by the Washington State Department of Commerce through their management of the DOE, LIHEAP, & Match-Maker grants, and through utility grants from Puget Sound Energy and Cascade Natural Gas.

Notice is hereby given that Public Utility District No. 1 of Skagit County (District) is accepting applications from contractors seeking approval for listing upon the District’s Small Works Roster. Whatcom PUD’s 2019 Small Works Roster
Contractors whose names appear on the Roster may submit job/bid proposals for public works contracts that are less than $300,000 (RCWs 54.04.070 & 39.04.155).
To be considered by Whatcom PUD and approved to be included on Whatcom PUD’s Small Works Roster each contractor shall: be a responsible bidder as defined by current Washington State Law; have a current Certificate of Registration as a Contractor in the State of Washington; have a current Washington State Unified Business Identifier number; if applicable, Industrial Insurance coverage for the applicant’s employees working in the State of Washington; have an Employment Security Department number; have a Washington State Excise Tax registration number; have a Workmen’s Compensation Experience Factor equal to or less than one (1.0); have the ability to bond projects in the amount of $300,000 or less; have personnel with a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in the trade or scope of work indicated in the Application; be able to submit a Certificate of Insurance for the minimum amounts indicated in the Application; and have satisfactory qualifications to receive Safety Training and Security Clearances from Whatcom PUD’s industrial customers.

Notice is hereby given that the Port of Anacortes is accepting applications to be placed on the Small Works Roster of the Port. Applicants, where required by law, must be properly licensed or registered to perform work in the State of Washington. Including on-call services such as plumbing, HVAC, electrical, handy-man/facilities management, underground utility locating, and surface water cleaning & emergency response.

Description: The University of Washington (UW) is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from qualified general contractors for its Critical Patient Care and Specialized Medical Research Facilities Roster (Roster), pursuant to RCW 28B.20.744. This Roster may be used to solicit and award contracts for construction, building, renovation, remodeling, alteration, repair, or improvements for projects at the University of Washington Medical Center (UWMC), Harborview Medical Center (HMC), and facilities where specialized medical research is conducted. Critical Patient Care and Specialized Medical Research Facilities Roster projects are defined by statute as those projects with an estimated construction cost of $5,000,000 or less.
