The Central Puget Sound Regional Transit Authority (Sound Transit) is requesting Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from qualified firms to provide consultant services on an on-call basis to respond to requests by Design, Engineering, and Construction Management (DECM) and Planning, Environment, and Project Development (PEPD) for performance of a variety of project review services for the ST2 & ST3 programs. These project reviews happen at specific milestones, typically, Conceptual Engineering (10%), Preliminary Engineering (30%) and Final Design (60% & 90%). These review services are accomplished by conducting formal Value Engineering, Constructability Review and Risk Assessment workshops. The consultant should be familiar with project management, project development, design and construction for large, public works, light rail transportation projects.
Knowledge of FTA processes on light rail projects is desirable. Expertise with at-grade, aerial and underground guideway and station construction is required.
The complete Scope of Work is provided in the Draft Agreement in Section 6 of this RFQ.
Estimated Contract Amount: $4,900,000.00 for each contract awarded (not to exceed $14,700,000.00)
Sound Transit intends to award up to three (3) contracts as a result of this solicitation
