Consultants For Roadway Project – East George Hopper Road
The City of Burlington, Washington solicits interest from consulting firms with expertise in roadway design for federally funded projects.
This agreement will be for approximately twelve months in duration with the option for the City of Burlington to extend it for additional time and money if necessary.
Consultants will be considered for the project described below.
Work to be performed by the Consultant consists of developing the concept, plans, specifications and bid package for the construction contract. The project will require coordination with WSDOT, as well as additional design services such as drainage and lighting. The selected consultant may also be requested to perform construction management services. Federal funding has been secured for design and construction services. The City of Burlington reserves the right to amend terms of this “Request for Qualifications” (RFQ) to circulate various addenda, or to withdraw the RFQ at any time, regardless of how much time and effort consultants have spent on their responses.
Project Description The work to be performed by the CONSULTANT consists of preparing engineering design and permitting for roadway improvements in the vicinity of the interchange at Interstate 5 (I-5) and George Hopper Road within the City of Burlington. The project will expand traffic lanes on East George Hopper Road by constructing an additional Westbound lane from Burlington Boulevard to the Northbound I-5 onramp. The main objectives of the project are: Improve traffic safety and reduce congestion. Provide additional Westbound lane adjacent to Costco. Facilitate improved ingress/egress to the core of Burlington¡Çs major retail hub. Evaluation Criteria Submittal will be evaluated and ranked based on the following criteria: Qualifications of the Proposed Project Manager Qualifications/Expertise of Firm Ability to meet schedule Approach to project Familiarity with WSDOT/FHWA acquisition standards Past successful real estate acquisitions for federally funded projects Past performance references
Submittal: Submittals should include the following information: Firm name, phone and email contact, and name of Principle-in-Charge and Project Manager. Please Submit FOUR copies of your Statement of Qualifications to: City of Burlington, Attention: Public Works Director, 833 S. Spruce Street, Burlington, WA 98233 no later than 11:00 a.m. on December 11th, 2019. Submittals will not be accepted after that time and date.

Request for Statement of Qualifications for Engineering & Architectural Services
The Longview School District is soliciting statements of qualifications and performance data from engineering and/or architectural firms interested in providing engineering and/or architectural services for the period from January 2020 through December 2020, in conjunction with School District sponsored projects.
Typical projects include, but are not limited to: facility improvements, site improvements and structural upgrades.
These qualifications and performance data will be placed on file and will be used as a source from which to select one or more qualified firms from whom a detailed proposal will be requested for any specific project.
Those firms who have statements on file should only respond with a request for their statement of interest to be renewed for the calendar year 2020, along with any pertinent amendments to their statement of qualifications.
All submittals must be received no later than December 13, 2019. Areas of expertise are to be clearly spelled out in the cover letter to facilitate data entry.

RFP Consultant Services Economic Feasibility Study For Marine Terminal Modernization
The Port of Anacortes is requesting proposals for Consultant Services to complete an Economic Feasibility Study for the Port’s Marine Terminal Modernization.
The Study, funded in part through a Community Economic Revitalization Board planning grant, will evaluate several modernization options and provide a clear recommendation on the best layout to improve utilization for the land and the identification of a path forward to project implementation. The intent of the Study is to determine the economic viability of a terminal modernization initiative, identify the target market including type of tenants/customers/products, etc. that will potentially locate/use the updated terminal, and identify the requirements and funding strategies for the public infrastructure development.

The Port of Vancouver is seeking responses to this solicitation from consultants for the purpose of developing on-call agreements to perform various On-Call Geotechnical Engineering Services on an as needed basis.
