RFQ Architecture Services for Mcintyre Hall Performing Arts and Conference Center
Skagit Regional Public Facilities District (PFD) is requesting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from interested Architectural firms to provide complete Architectural Services for McIntyre Hall Performing Arts and Conference Center (McIntyre Hall). This is a 750-seat performing arts hall and conference center built in 2004, on the Skagit Valley College Campus, Mount Vernon, Washington.
The first phase of services will be to work with the management of McIntyre Hall and the PFD to develop a long-range plan for expansion, maintenance and upgrades to McIntyre Hall, along with an associated rough order of magnitude costing and priority assignment. Areas of study include, exterior building envelope, conference area expansion and sound system upgrades, kitchen expansion and upgrades, theater sound, lighting & acoustical enhancements, orchestra pit lift installation, overall building surfaces, FF&E, mechanical and electrical replacements and upgrades. Other areas of study will be identified as the process moves forward.
Phase two will be the implementation of the highest priority items identified, including the selected consultant providing complete Architectural and Consultant services as required by work to be performed.
In order to have your qualifications considered, your team will need to have had significant documented experience in successfully completing similar types of projects. The selection committee will review the information submitted and based upon that review will either select an architect from the information presented, or conduct interviews with one or more firms, from which a selection will be made. The PFD reserves the right to reject all submissions and/or not pursue the project.
Keep your submittal specific to this project, use a minimum font size of 11 and do not exceed 20 pages, spiral bound in portrait format, single sided or 10 pages double sided. Cover, back and divider pages need not be counted in the 20 pages. Be sure that on the cover of your proposal and on the introductory letter, you include your firm name, contact person, and phone number and email of the contact person. Provide 3 hard copies, and one electronic version of your SOQ on or before 3:00 pm, Thursday April 26th, 2018. Deliver hard copies to: President’s Office, Skagit Valley College, 2405 E.
