Request for Qualifications: Architectural Services The Bellingham School District #501 is requesting Architects to submit qualifications to perform a scope of work which includes providing visioning, site master planning, construction recommendations, educational specifications, planning and design, construction documents, permitting, cost estimates, and contract administration, for the replacement of the existing District Office at a new site location.
Firms selected for an interview will be based upon the following criteria: Qualifications to provide required services, experience, performance on past projects, personnel assigned to the project, consultants assigned to the project, ability to meet schedule, references, and other factors the Bellingham School District wishes to take into consideration.
Firms desiring consideration shall submit a complete qualification package and any other pertinent data to further assist the selection committee in evaluating the firm’s qualifications to: Curtis Lawyer, Director of Capital Projects, Bellingham School District #501, 1306 Dupont Street, Bellingham, WA. 98225-3198. Whatcom Transportation Authority (WTA), the public transportation agency in Whatcom County, Washington, will receive proposal in accordance with minimum proposal requirements identified in Request for Proposals (RFP) 2019-271. The purpose of this RFP is to select the most qualified consultant to assist with a long range transit plan.

SOQ Region 1 Office Parking and Storage Predesign
Statement Of Qualifications Due: 3PM NOVEMBER 12, 2019
This project is to complete the Office of Financial Management’s (OFM) requested Predesign Report for design, permitting, and construction of parking and storage facilities at WDFW’s Region 1 Headquarters in Spokane Valley, Washington. The intent of a predesign study is to investigate facility alternatives and assess which alternative will provide the best solution and at what cost. The report will include OFM’s required analyses, predesign drawings, and the predesign checklist consistent with the 2019 OFM Predesign Manual
Storage and parking needs identified in 2005 include:
• 2800 sf of heated storage
• 6900 sf of enclosed unheated storage
• 5400 sf of canopy style (3 sides and a roof) parking
The total cost for the project described above is estimated at $6,469,000.
Current needs are estimated to be up to 50% higher than those identified in 2005.
Project Phases
The project will be completed and reviewed in phases. Phase 1 will be the OFM predesign. Upon a successful working relationship, completing the predesign report, OFM approval of the report, and subsequent design funding, a Phase 2 for full design and construction documents would be negotiated with the same firm, in accordance with OFM A&E guidelines. Upon approval, any subsequent work will have its own timeline established. Funding for Phase 2 would be available no earlier than FY 21-23.
Phase 1 – Project predesign must be completed by May 15, 2020.
