SOQ Professional Architectural Services
The City of Sedro-Woolley is inviting statements of qualifications and performance information from firms interested in providing professional architectural services for the City of Sedro-Woolley’s Fire Station 1 Addition Project. This project involves design phase services and construction management for an approximately 600 square foot addition to the SE Corner of Fire Station 1 to include two residential sleeper units and a restroom. Station 1 is located at 325 Metcalf Street, Sedro-Woolley. Work will include but not be limited to providing design, construction documents, assistance with public bidding and possibly construction management. Scope also includes providing an estimate of cost for the facility and related engineering and survey work.
Work under this agreement to be performed beginning as soon as possible with design work complete so the project can bid by October 1, 2018.
Statements of qualifications are due by 2 pm, August 9, 2018. Please be advised that this is a receipt date and time. Statement of qualifications shall be emailed to: Results will be posted on the city website after award.
Qualification and performance statements will be reviewed according to the City of Sedro-Woolley’s Guidelines for Consultant Selection, Streamlined Process. Selection will be based, among other things, on key personnel proposed for the project, firm experience, past performance, in-house expertise, and commitment to meet the project timeline.

One (1) consultant’s Statement of Qualifications in response to this RSQ shall be emailed with a concise statement marked in the subject line thereof identifying the project to which the submittal pertains. SOQ may be limited to a letter of interest, key personnel and sub-consultants (if any) proposed for the project, preliminary schedule of work, and references for similar projects to support SOQ information included in the MRSC Rosters.
