Request For Professional Services The Port of Bellingham is soliciting responses from consulting firms to this Request for Professional Services (RFPS) to assist the Port by providing Architectural and Engineering Services for a 19,000 square foot 2010 Olympic Coordination Center to be built in the westerly portion of the International Trade Building (ITB). The consulting firm shall provide architectural, mechanical, structural and electrical engineering consultants for core and shell; and tenant improvements to the existing building. Responses should address the following evaluation criteria: 1. Architectural Qualifications and Project Experience (last 5 years). A. Demonstrate relevant and innovative experience converting warehouse space to other uses. B. Demonstrate familiarity with local codes and permitting requirements applicable in Whatcom County. C. Demonstrate knowledge of the Port of Bellingham, its role in Whatcom County, and its project procedures. D. Demonstrate past design experience with the Department of Homeland Security; US Customs; or the GSA. 2. Familiarity with this building and this intended reuse. A. Demonstrate familiarity with the International Trade Building by discussing its building type, existing internal systems, potential design encumbrances, limitations, and/or opportunities. B. Demonstrate knowledge and list design experience with the design of law enforcement facilities. C. Demonstrate the ability to provide local inspection with quick responses to field questions. 3. References and availability. A. Provide a list of projects completed in Washington of comparable scope. Also provide the reference personnel for these projects that would be available to discuss the performance of the design and your firm. B. Discuss the availability of your consultant team to design and deliver project documents, suitable for public bid, in a 45 day design period. 2009 SOQs Professional Consulting Services City of Oak harbor is soliciting statements of qualifications and performance data from engineering, architectural, planning and/or other professional consulting firms for providing general engineering, survey and consulting services for sanitary sewer systems, storm drainage, water distribution systems, streets, marine design, marina facilities and breakwater, marina comprehensive plan, capital facilities, planning, landscape contractors, public facilitation, environmental impact, economic development financing, grant preparation, transportation planning and engineering wetlands enhancement contractors, biologists, structural engineering, architectural designers, and solid waste management for the 2009 calendar year. These qualifications and performance data will be placed on file and will be used as a source from which to select one or more qualified firms from whom a detailed proposal will be requested for any specific project. Design, and Project Management for 230 kV electrical facilities
including transmission, switchyard, substation, power transformers, and
